Amsterdam – the city that floats

Amsterdam is the capital and largest city in the Netherlands. Today, Amsterdam, although not a metropolis, has any right to want to hold the title of World grad.Namira in North Holland province, the Randstad, the mouth of the river Amstel I. With a glance at the map you will understand that Amsterdam has as many canals as streets.  Most streets look like alleys – short and narrow channels are a little broader. This is one reason to use local boats and trams to move around. Bycicles  and wheels are the most popular and practical transport in Amsterdam.

The town is wonderful for walking. Magnificent architecture, vendors selling tulips, street musicians and a crowd of people – this is Amsterdam briefly. Modern Amsterdam is very liberal and offers many opportunities. Amsterdam lets you be yourself and feel good about it. For hotels in Amsterdam you could make reservations up front due to the many tourist that visit the city around the year.

Do not miss the panoramic walk starting point Centrall station, Damrak and the Rijksmuseum. This tour lasts 45 minutes. You can also use the boat, which has 11 stops and goes through museums and shopping centers or to use the boat that led you to all museums. Another part of the typical architecture of the city are housing-boats. Most of them are complete housing after the municipality has provided them electricity, water, gas and sewerage. This type of homes are over 2000, but due to the large number  new placement is prohibited.
